"AUTUMN YEARS"

Although we may be entering,
The autumn
of our years.
And the
spring of youth has long
since past us by.
Although we
may be aging,
Far faster
than we thought,
And our grey
hairs and wrinkles
multiply.
Although we
may pass further,
Into our
winter years ahead,
Through the
cosy nights we'll spend
and share as one.
Although we
won't remember,
All the
things we did and said,
And the days
begin to merge off into one.
Although the
years in front of us,
May seem so
far away,
See how
quickly all the seasons come,
Then go
astray.
But with
love in our hearts,
We've a
joyous song to sing,
Both, will
keep us happy, snug and warm,
For the many
years ahead,
That life
decides to bring....
