"THE MEMORY CATCHER"

The Memory Catcher.
She stood at heavens doorway
with her little fishing net.
Waiting for the memories
from those who won't forget.
The sky was always full.
The memories kept on coming,
Yet her net was never full.
Once they were in the net,
they would disappear.
Sent on to heavens angels
from those that were near.
Some were bigger than others.
She loved to catch them last.
They came with the such emotion
from stories of the past.
Some were only small.
Too painful yet to face.
But still the memory Catcher
sent them to the right place.
Her favourite ones of all
where the ones that she'd seen grow.
Because she knew her angel friends
were now down below.
