All alone with my thoughts,

my dreams and my fears.

Then I feel you beside me

and the fog clears.

Our little dog barks.

He knows you are near,

as we walked the same walk

when you were here.

I saw the sand move

with each step that I took.

I told you I missed you

and I gave you that look.

The one that I'd give you

that said so much,

and then you reached out

for my hand to touch.

I love being here,

at the place that we first met,

reliving the memories

I will not forget.
